Head of Forestry UPT (Kepala UPT Kehutanan)

The Provincial Forestry Service of Bangka Belitung is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Forestry UPT (Kepala UPT Kehutanan) to oversee and drive our forestry operations in Pangkal Pinang. This role is crucial in ensuring the sustainable management and conservation of our forests, while also driving economic growth through responsible forestry practices.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated forestry professionals, implementing and monitoring forestry policies, and ensuring compliance with national and international environmental standards. You will work closely with government agencies, local communities, and stakeholders to develop and execute forestry projects that promote biodiversity, ecological balance, and community welfare.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Oversee the daily operations of the UPT Kehutanan, ensuring efficient and effective management of forest resources.
• Develop and implement forestry policies and strategies that align with national and international environmental standards.
• Lead a team of forestry professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of departmental goals.
• Monitor and evaluate forestry projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable forestry practices.
• Collaborate with government agencies, local communities, and stakeholders to develop and execute forestry projects that promote biodiversity and ecological balance.
• Ensure the protection and conservation of forest ecosystems, including endangered species and habitats.
• Represent the Provincial Forestry Service of Bangka Belitung in meetings, conferences, and other professional forums.
• Ensure the financial management and accountability of the UPT Kehutanan, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with financial regulations.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in forestry management, with a proven track record in leading forestry operations and projects.
• Certification in Sustainable Forestry Management (SFM) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of national and international environmental regulations and standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for financial management and reporting.
• Fluency in both written and spoken Indonesian.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with government agencies, local communities, and stakeholders.
